About Jamie Lynn Spears

Born April 4, 1991 in McComb , Mississippi , Jamie Lynn Marie Spears is the third and youngest child of Lynne and Jamie Spears.  She grew up and continues to reside in the small town of Kentwood , Louisiana .  Jamie has an older brother Bryan, and of course her famous older sister is Britney Spears.  Jamie attends school at Parklane Academy in nearby McComb, where she is on the Pioneer cheerleading squad.  Jamie grew up next to older sister Britney’s spotlight, and it wasn’t long before she was in the center of her own.  At the age of 10, Jamie and her friends Crystal and Leigh landed a Clorox commercial.  In 2002, Jamie made her big screen debut playing the childhood version of Britney’s character in the teen hit Crossroads.  That summer Jamie became the eighth cast member in the Nickelodeon show All That.  Her new found celebrity opened more doors for Jamie, and in 2003 she recorded a remake of Cyndi Lauper’s Girls Just Wanna Have Fun with Triple Image, which reached #1 on Disney’s Top 40.  Jamie stars as Zoey Brooks in the hit show Zoey 101.  She spends what spare time she has enjoying the company of her family, her many pet dogs and her friend Emma Roberts.
