About Keira Knightley

Keira Knightley was born March 26, 1985 in Teddington, Middlesex, England.  A product of a showbiz family she is the daughter of actor Will Knightley and playwright Sharman Macdonald.  A child actor her first role was at the age of 9, in A Village Affair in 1994.  Some of her major roles were in films such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Love Actually. Keira appeared in the 2004 film, King Arthur and 2005 the movies Pure, Domino and Pride and Prejudice. In 2006 she appeared in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest.
