Brittany Murphy Strips For the Troops  4/9/05

Actress Brittany Murphy has shown her devotion to US soldiers - by stripping down and posing for Maxim magazine.

The bubbly beauty, ex-girlfriend of her Just Married co-star Ashton Kutcher, has posed for a sexy spread in the men's magazine, where she dons her tiny costume from her new movie Sin City - and she insists it's all for the American troops.

She says, "The reason that I chose to do this was because... the magazine was kind enough to put a pin-up inside for the troops.

"My cousin is overseas right now and he's a Marine. Maxim's doing a very kind thing in which they're sending, I believe, over 20,000 magazines overseas - and to our Bravehearts in the States."
