Ciara: "I'm a Good Girl"  4/13/05

R&B sensation CIARA insists she's nothing like the girl fans see in sexy videos - she rarely parties, never drinks alcohol and refuses to have sex before marriage.

The Goodies good girl, 19, claims she's a perfect role model for today's young women because she promotes abstinence.

She tells men's magazine Blender, "I believe I was placed in front of millions of people for a reason. People look up to me, they see me as their role model, and that's cool. I've been a role model all my life.

"I'm not totally innocent, and I do date. But, as a young woman, I also demand respect and I strongly believe in abstinence. Sex before marriage? It's not right.

"(Also), I hate drinking, I hate smoking and I don't much like to party. I don't have many friends, either. When you're famous, it's difficult to trust new people."
