Britney's Mother is Top Bet for Baby's Name  4/14/05

Bookmakers are betting Britney Spears keeps it in the family when she names her baby daughter.

After announcing she was with child on Tuesday (12APR05), Irish bookies Paddypower are the first to offer odds on the names the singer and husband Kevin Federline will choose for their little bundle of joy.

The firm offers 8-1 odds that the girl will be named LYNN, after Britney's mother, while the odds on her being called Jamie Lynn, like Spears' sister, are 12-1.

Meanwhile, Shar - the name of the mother of Federline's two children (Shar Jackson) - came in at 80-1.

But gossips in America feel sure Spears has already given the world a clue to the name - she reportedly checked into the Ford Walton Beach Medical Center under the name Madison Lea for a check-up at the weekend (09/10APR05).
