Pamela Anderson's Book Shut Out of Show 4/15/05

Pamela Anderson's new literary-themed sitcom, "Stacked" will be missing one co-star - her steamy novel Star.

Publishing giant Harper Collins, which is owned by FOX corporate parent News Corp, has inked a deal to supply the show with all of its prop books.

But, as Anderson's book is published by rival Atria Books, it won't be making it onto the Fox show.

Paul Lance, director of HarperCollins' west coast office, has confirmed the arrangement, adding, "The bookstore is almost a character in the script."
