Eminem Taught Murphy to Give the Finger  4/20/05

Eminem left Brittany Murphy with a new skill by the time he ended their brief affair - he taught her how to give the finger.

Murphy, who dated the rapper as they filmed the 2002 movie 8 MILE, had little experience in making the obscene gesture until she met Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers III.

She tells MAXIM magazine, "He taught me how to give the finger. The first (8

Mile) scene we shot was the one where I flipped him off, but it's just not something that comes naturally to me; I had only given it one time before then.

"So it took me something like 17 takes to get it right, because it just looked wrong every time I did it. Finally, I did it the Marshall way, and that's how I flip people off today."
