COMPETITION
Countdown to Crowning of Next American Idol Continues; Final 5 Compete
Tuesday, May 3, On FOX
The No. 1 show on television continued its phenomenal season Tuesday
night, when the remaining 6 finalists performed songs from 2000 to 2005 on
AMERICAN IDOL. America made its decision on who should remain in the
competition and it was revealed last night that rocker Constantine
Maroulis was eliminated after he received the lowest number of votes.
Maroulis, from New York City, NY, performed Nickelback’s “How You
Remind Me” for the crowd.
Next week, the competition heats up when the Final 5 – Bo Bice,
Anthony Fedorov, Scott Savol, Vonzell Solomon and Carrie Underwood –
compete head-to-head for the AMERICAN IDOL crown. They will take the
stage, singing live for America, on Tuesday, May 3 (8:00-9:00 PM live
ET/tape-delayed PT).
Tune in the following night to find out who America has chosen to stay
and who is sent home on the live results show Wednesday, May 4 (9:00-9:30
PM live ET/tape-delayed PT) on FOX.
