Love Struck Tom Cruise Talks About His Romance With Katie Holmes  4/29/05

Tom Cruise has broken his silence about his new romance with Katie Holmes.

The movie hunk was so impressed when US TV presenter Jon Kelley flew all the way to Rome, Italy, to track the new golden couple down, he agreed to chat with him about the new love in his life at an official engagement last night (28APR05).

Kelley, who works for TV show Extra, asked Cruise to tell him all about his new girlfriend, to which the beaming star said, "She's an extraordinary woman... I feel really happy. I'm more than enamored."

But the actor refused to talk about how the couple met and wouldn't confirm rumors that they fell in love after meeting up to discuss a film project.

Cruse told Kelley, "I'm going to hold on to that one for myself for the time being. I'm just enjoying this now."

The newsman also had a surprise for Cruise - a copy of a Seventeen magazine from last year (04), in which Holmes confessed to a lifelong crush on the actor.

Surprised Cruise looked back at his blushing girlfriend and said, "I don't want to disappoint her."

Cruise went on to tell the probing Kelley that he plans to "hang" with Holmes in Rome for a few days because the former Dawson's Creek star had never been to the Italian city.

He stated, "It couldn't be any more romantic."
