Lost Star's Real Life Air Plane Courage  4/5/06

Lost star Evangeline Lilly had no qualms filming the dramatic plane crash that launched the TV series, because she trained as a flight attendant in real life.

The actress, who plays survivor Kate Austen in the show, insists her job training was far more frightening than any stunts she experienced on set.

She explains, "I was a flight attendant. We used to go into airplane simulators when I was training, and they would simulate what a drop out of the sky would feel like.

"I'd have my hands thrown in the air and be whooping while people behind me were vomiting. It's fun - take it for the ride."
