Hugh Jackman Dominates Cannes Festival  4/6/06

Actor Hugh Jackman will have a strong presence at the 59th annual Cannes Film Festival, with two of his films debuting during the event. X-Men: The Last Stand and The Fountain, both starring Jackman, have been added to the official selection at the festival. Jackman stars with Oscar winner Rachel Weisz in The Fountain, which is directed by her fiancé, Darren Aronofsky. 

Sofia Coppola and Kirsten Dunst's costume drama Marie Antoniette will also be shown at the festival, as well as a 20-minute preview of director Oliver Stone's movie World Trade Center. 

Stone will also be honored as part of a 20th anniversary tribute to Platoon. The Cannes Film Festival begins on 17 May (06).
