Nicole Richie: "Stop the Skinny Slurs"  4/10/06

The Simple Life star Nicole Richie is furious over accusations she is dangerously thin - insisting the "lies" are upsetting her family. 

The daughter of soul star Lionel Richie claims she eats healthily, and wishes people would leave her - and her slender appearance - alone. 

She fumes, "Am I thin? Yes, no doubt about it. But to say I'm on the verge of death is just untrue. "My family get really upset to see people writing these lies about their child. "Do they ask me about it? No, because they know that I eat."
