Jessica Simpson Sued Over Fashion Snub  4/10/06

Actress/singer Jessica Simpson is being sued $100 million by a clothing company after she allegedly failed to promote their products as agreed.

The Tarrant Apparel Group filed suit against the star at New York State Supreme Court last week (06APR06).

Simpson reportedly signed a multi-million dollar three-year deal in 2004 to launch their range of bargain fashions but the company claims she didn't sport enough of their styles at "public events, shows and appearances".

Simpson has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
