Salma Hayek's Tiger Heartbreak  4/10/06

Actress Salma Hayek refuses to have a tiger as a pet, because she fears she could never replace the beloved big cat she cared for as a child.

The Frida star was so heartbroken when her striped companion Rambo suddenly passed away, she refused to continue looking after her two remaining tigers.

She says, "I had great parents. I was very spoilt by my father. I had deer, turtles and three tigers. My favorite was called Rambo and he was the tiger of my life.

"I had him for three years and I would keep him with me in the house. But then he got killed and it was a big tragedy. After that I didn't want any more tigers in my life because he was the one."
