Jessica Simpson Meets With Dallas Producers  4/11/06

Singer/actress Jessica Simpson has confirmed she is being considered for the role of sexy troublemaker Lucy Ewing in the big screen version of TV soap Dallas.

Simpson has already met with the movie's producers, although she admits she hasn't won the role yet.

She tells MTV, "That would be an honor for me. I'm a Texas girl, so you can't go wrong there.

"However it all works out, I'm just kind of going with the flow. One day at a time."

Last month (MAR06), Charlene Tilton, who played Ewing in the 1980s television series, said she believed 25-year-old Simpson is too old for the part.
