Lost Star Recalls Blood Disease  4/14/06

 

Cynthia Watros who plays Libby on the Lost series never takes her good health for granted after suffering from a blood disease throughout her teens. 

 

The actress was diagnosed with immune thrombocytopenia when she was 15. 

 

She says, "It was an autoimmune disease of the blood. I was in and out of hospital for two years before I really recovered."
