Tom Cruise: "No Oprah Regrets"  4/17/06

Actor Tom Cruise has no regrets about his enthusiastic couch-jumping display of love for fiancée Katie Holmes on The Oprah Winfrey Show, insisting it's encouraged others to express similar feelings.

The Top Gun star appeared on US ABC TV's Primetime and was asked by Diane Sawyer what his feelings were looking back on the experience.

He explains, "I say, 'Now there's some fun. There's some fun.' That's what I see.

"Some people have really come out of the woodwork and felt very open now about discussing their 'couch-jumping' experiences in their own lives, different things they did when they found that person they knew they were going to spend the rest of their lives with."
