Last night Rod Stewart, lover of music, blondes, and life certainly pushed the contestants to their best performance of this year’s American Idol and perhaps to the best of any previous season. He urged them to find their comfort zone, to attach themselves and claim personal ownership of  their selected song, and then give it their very best. For most of them, they did exactly that…..their finest stage presentation. However for a few contestants, they fell short in the eyes and more importantly, in the votes of the American public.

Because tonight the bottom three included: Paris, Ace, and Chris. Now I can understand Ace standing in the trio, but Chris who is an up and coming rock star? And Paris who right now could sell out a medium size auditorium of adoring and appreciative fans? Just how many musical illiterates are voting? Is there no way to audit these votes?

Is this the conspiracy of the American Idol producers to keep up the suspense? Just how honest is the voting and more importantly, the counting. Yes, I am fuming. And you should be too.

Even though Ace is no longer an American Idol contender, with those hypnotic eyes, we will see him again.
