Kylie Minogue Revamps Home  4/28/06

Pop princess Kylie Minogue is treating herself after her successful battle with breast cancer, with a $1.75 million refurbishment of her London home.

The Australian singer, who was diagnosed with the illness last May (05), is set to buy a $192,000 kitchen, complete with brass oven tiles and a granite worktop at her three-bedroom Chelsea apartment.

Minogue is also revamping her bedroom, which she shares with French actor love Oliver Martinez, with a $87,500  chandelier and $87,500 walk-in wardrobes.

A friend says, "She wanted a new look in the flat and a fresh start after the worst few months of her life.

"The builders started work last July and they've now almost finished. It's a new chapter for her."
