Elizabeth Hurley Vicar Failed to Star Spot  4/7/07

The vicar who married Elizabeth Hurley and Arun Nayar in England last month (02MAR07) wasn't nervous conducting the service in front of a host of celebrities - because he didn't recognize them.

Reverend John Partington - who officiated the civil ceremony at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire - failed to brush up on his celebrity knowledge, and only picked out Sir Elton John from a congregation including Eva Herziogove, Elle MacPherson, Patsy Kensit and artist Tracey Emin.

He says, "I didn't know who anyone was - apart from Elton John."
