Gwen Stefani: "Fashion Design Was My Dream Job"  4/16/07

Pop princess Gwen Stefani has hit out at claims she followed a trend by launching her own fashion line, instead it has been a lifelong dream. 

The singer, who started her fashion line L.A.M.B. in 2003, is delighted she has been given the opportunity to design her own clothes.

She says, "I just love getting ready. Growing up I was always playing dolls and dress-up, so it's like I'm still doing the same thing as when I was eight years old.

"Even if I didn't have paparazzi following me, I would still be doing the same thing."
