SUPERNANNY Launches Online Parent Community in USA; Follow Up With Your
Favorite SUPERNANNY Moms & Dads
LOS ANGELES /PRNewswire/ -- The SUPERNANNY brand familiar to TV viewers
of the weekly ABC parenting series is expanding with a new website
launching this month in the United States just in time for Mother's Day.
The site, www.supernanny.com, is a
complete parent portal for American moms and dads offering free expert
advice, tips from the hit show and a forum for parents to ask questions,
share thoughts and swap their own families' stories.
Fans of the TV series can find out what's new with their favorite
Supernanny families in the new video blogosphere on the site. Moms and
Dads who've been on the show will post regular video blogs, giving people
the chance to see and hear what happens after America's number one nanny,
Jo Frost, visits your family. Interested families can also apply to be on
the show via the website.
"We get inundated with emails from desperate parents who have
watched SUPERNANNY and are finding it difficult to cope with day-to-day
issues like the ones raised on the TV show -- there is clearly a need for
this type of website," says SUPERNANNY Executive Producer, Nick
Emmerson.
The SUPERNANNY television series has brought the issue of parent and
child behavior into the public arena in the United States, sparking hot
debate among parents and experts. "Parents have seen how other
families deal with behavioral issues, and the door is open for discussion
and change. Supernanny.com raises the level of this discussion to a new,
international level," Emmerson says.
Supernanny.com launched in the United Kingdom in March to rave reviews.
The new US based website is poised to be a leader in positive parenting on
the internet in the same way that the popular ABC show is must-see TV for
parents across America.
Ricochet Television has headquarters in the United States and Britain.
Ricochet's SUPERNANNY is currently watched by 13.5 million viewers in the
US and UK, and there are 13 other local country 'Supernannies' world wide.
Following the US launch of www.supernanny.com,
there are plans to create foreign language versions of the Supernanny
website.
Visit www.supernanny.com to sign up and join the phenomenon.
