Larry Birkhead Bemused by Prince Frederic Von Anhalt Claims  4/19/07

Larry Birkhead was stunned when Zsa Gabor's husband Prince Frederic Von Anhalt put himself forward as a potential father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby Dannielynn.

Birkhead was finally confirmed as the biological father of the baby on 10 April (07) after months of legal battles and the tragic death of the tot's mother in February (07).

Before DNA tests confirmed who parented the child, Birkhead was being named as one of three possible fathers alongside Von Anhalt and Smith's partner Howard K. Stern.

However, photographer Birkhead admits he never saw Von Anhalf as a serious contender.

He tells British magazine OK!, "I thought that was funny.

"I'd actually pop some popcorn and sit in front of the television with it when he'd come on just to laugh at him."
