“And Another Is Sent Home”

The final seven were on stage tonight to find out who was leaving. But before that was announced, American Idol presented live and in person- Fergie. Then she was followed by a dash of animated Shrek 3. And ending it was country blues singer, Martina McBride. With those three super stars shining brightly, all the contestants wanted to continue the competition in hopes that one day they will be famous, but probably not wanting to be green!

After 38 million votes, the bottom three were: Sanjaya Malakar, LaKisha Jones and Blake Lewis. There is no surprise that Sanjaya has without questioned “earned” the right to in the bottom three. LaKisha is normally a powerful singer, but last night she slipped. Blake’s performance last night also cost him dearly. And how Phil Stacey escaped being in the bottom three is only because there were three spots, not four.

And who is going home accompanied by his hair stylist? Sanjaya with his very ordinary voice.

Next week we will hear the remaining six singers as the competition continues to sizzle. And next week I will have your recap just for you.
