Danny Bonaduce Devastated by Divorce  4/20/07

US TV star Danny Bonaduce has been left devastated by his divorce and he fears he'll never recover from his split from wife Gretchen.

The Partridge Family star went public with the divorce on a Los Angeles radio show earlier this month (Apr07) and now reveals his wife of 17 years simply told him she no longer loved him.

Speaking on news show Extra last night (19Apr07), Bonaduce said, ""She just looked at me and said, 'I'm not in love with you anymore,' and three days later after I stopped crying I said 'Okie, dokie.'

"I will love her for the rest of my life and I want her to stay with me forever and ever."

Meanwhile, Gretchen, who was part of Bonaduce's hit reality show Breaking Bonaduce, says, "We really weren't getting along and I think, for the kids sake, that it's the right time to do it.

"It's better to be from a broken home than in a broken home."

Bonaduce admits he thought the couple's problems were over after he underwent a stint in rehab for substance abuse.

He adds, "We always hoped that once I actually got sober, we could get past it and I guess unfortunately we couldn't."
