Hugh Grant Arrested Over Paparazzo Attack  4/26/07

Hugh Grant has been arrested and questioned by police after allegedly attacking a paparazzo and snarling "I hope your kids die of f**king cancer".

The incident took place on Tuesday (24Apr07) morning, when the Love Actually star lashed out at photographer Ian Whittaker for taking his picture in west London.

He is alleged to have hurled a container of baked beans at Whittaker before repeatedly kicking and swearing at him.

Grant's lawyers Schillings said an incident had taken place and was now under investigation.

A police spokeswoman confirmed a 46-year-old man had been arrested on Wednesday evening (25Apr07) and questioned at a central London police station after an allegation of assault. He was bailed to return in May (07).
