Hugh Grant Receives Libel Damages  4/28/07

Actor Hugh Grant has accepted undisclosed libel damages over claims he flirted with a film executive while dating Jemima Khan.

British publishers Associated Newspapers agreed to the payout this morning (27Apr07) over allegations his relationship with Khan was destroyed by a flirtation with another woman and his conduct over Elizabeth Hurley's wedding.

It is believed the money will be donated to charity.

Grant and Khan separated in February (07) after being together for three years, but the split was said to be amicable.

This should put a smile back on the Notting Hill actor's face following his arrest yesterday (26Apr07) for an alleged attack on a British paparazzo.
