GAME-CHANGING TWIST SURPRISES FINAL FOUR CONTESTANTS ON NBC’S “THE BIGGEST LOSER: COUPLES” ON THURSDAY, APRIL 8 (8-10 P.M. ET), THE LAST EPISODE BEFORE THE LIVE SEASON FINALE ON APRIL 15

America to Vote on Who Third Finalist Will Be!

Plus, Famed Chef Rocco DiSpirito Returns to Fix Low-Calorie Versions of the Final Four's Favorite Meals!

BURBANK, CA – April 3, 2008 – On Thursday, April 8 (8-10 p.m. ET), in the last episode of NBC's "The Biggest Loser: Couples" before the live finale on April 15, the final four contestants learn from host Alison Sweeney of a final surprise twist that could completely change the game for all of them.

The final four -- Alison Vincent (Mesa, AZ), Kelly Fields (Titusville, FL), Mark Kruger (Dartmouth, MA) and Roger Schultz (Enterprise, AL) -- return from last week's trip to Australia without their trainers and attempt to train themselves for their last week on the ranch. Celebrity Chef Rocco Dispirito visits for the second time this season and teaches the contestants how to make healthy versions of their favorite dishes before heading home. And the contestants get emotional as they all watch videos of their most memorable moments on campus, showing just how far they've all come in their weight loss journeys.

Then they head to the final weigh-in, where two of the final four players fall below the yellow line. But instead of them choosing which of the players will be a finalist for the finale, Sweeney tells them about one last game-changing twist – that for the first time ever in "Biggest Loser" history, America will determine who the third finalist will be. Viewers will vote online at www.nbc.com on the two that fall below the yellow line, with voting taking place for 48 hours following the end of the east coast broadcast at 10 p.m. ET on April 8. Who America chooses to be a finalist – and who they choose to eliminate – will be revealed in the first five minutes of the live finale on April 15.

The live finale of the team-themed "Biggest Loser" cycle will air Tuesday, April 15 from 8-10 p.m. ET, when this season's "Biggest Loser" will be revealed and win the $250,000 grand prize. The winner of the "at home" $100,000 prize, a separate competition among contestants who have already been eliminated, will also be announced at the live finale.

Who they choose to be a finalist – and who they choose to eliminate – will be revealed at the live finale on April 15.

Alison Sweeney is the host, and Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels also star.
