Keanu Reeves Won't Star in Bill & Ted Remake  4/8/08

Keanu Reeves won't be reprising his role as time traveler Bill S. Preston Esq. in a remake of 1989 cult comedy Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure.

Reeves found fame starring alongside Alex Winter in the movie, as well as the 1991 follow up Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey.

According to internet reports, a remake is being planned with an updated script and a modern spin.

But the Matrix actor won't be taking part. He insists, "If there is (a remake), I'm not there."
