Shannon Elizabeth's a Dog Lover  4/11/08

Animal lover Shannon Elizabeth has to juggle her acting career and reality show Dancing With the Stars, with caring for seven pet dogs.

Away from Hollywood, the actress runs rescue organization Animal Avengers with her ex-husband Joseph D. Reitman - and the pair also share custody of a large collection of pet pooches.

She reveals, "I have four dogs and another three that live with my ex.

"I have my own animal rescue organization. We get animals off the streets and out of the pounds and into homes. It's so fulfilling when you take an animal who is about to die and see the change in them."
