Mischa Barton Pleads Guilty to Drunk Driving 4/11/08

Actress Mischa Barton has been sentenced to three years unsupervised probation after pleading no contest to drunk driving.

The former The O.C. star was charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and driving without a license in February (08), following an arrest in West Hollywood in December (07).

Barton accepted a plea deal by admitting the DUI offence in return for prosecutors dropping the marijuana charge and reducing the driving without a license charge to an infraction.

On Thursday (10Apr08), a Beverly Hills, California judge sentenced the 22-year-old to three years unsupervised probation and ruled she must complete a three-month alcohol-education class and pay a fine of approximately $2,000.
