Larry
Rudolph Denies Plotting Britney Spears Comeback
4/18/08
Britney Spears' former manager Larry Rudolph has dismissed rumors the
star is recording a new LP under his supervision - insisting their recent
trip to a studio together was "just for fun".
Rudolph, who is widely credited with discovering the singer when she
was just 15, was reportedly dismissed as her manager after he joined
forces with her parents and staged an intervention to get Spears to enter
rehab at the beginning of last year (07).
But the svengali recently sparked rumors he has reconciled with Spears
by declaring she is set to make a triumphant comeback to the music scene.
And the pair fuelled speculation about their reunion when they were
seen entering a Los Angeles recording studio together earlier this week
(beg14Apr08).
But Rudolph has denied they are working on a new project together.
He tells Us Magazine, "We went into the studio, but it was just
for fun - nothing more."
A source confirms to the publication, "She just wanted to go in
and tinker (play) around. She sat at a piano and got some ideas. She
played the piano and sang a bit. She enjoyed herself."
