After casting 38 million votes, the fans decided that Syesha Mercado and Carly Smithson were the bottom two. Why Syesha was there is beyond my reasoning as last night she simply sizzled and dazzled us. Carly, on the other hand, underperformed with her flat rendition of “Jesus Christ Superstar.” And as predicted, it was Carly who was given a ticket back home. Yet, she is a talented singer and we have not heard the last from her.

We are now down to the bottom five and you must not forget to return here next Tuesday for my recap written just for you.
