IT'S CLASSY VS. SASSY WHEN AN AFFLUENT PERFECTIONIST WIFE WHOSE GOAL IS TO KEEP UP APPEARANCES SWAPS LIVES WITH A DRAG RACING DAREDEVIL WIFE WHO LIVES FOR SPEED AND ADRENALINE, ON ABC'S "WIFE SWAP"

This week in "Sundstrom/Tower," a tightly wound, extreme-clean wife who lives in a picture perfect home swaps lives with a drag racing wife whose cluttered home and parenting style run on high octane, on "Wife Swap," WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on ABC. Each week from across the country, two families with very different values are chosen to take part in a two-week long challenge. The wives exchange husbands, children and lives (but not bedrooms) to discover just what it's like to live another woman's life. It's a mind-blowing experiment that often ends up changing lives forever.

For the Towers, life is all about appearances in their affluent Massachusetts neighborhood. Joy (42) keeps her model home impeccably clean, as if the President might just stop by, having elevated countertop polishing to a fine art. Kids Matthew (17), Lauren (15) and Corey (11) keep themselves and their bedrooms neat at all times; no posters allowed! Joy and Paul (45) throw ritzy cocktail parties for their well dressed friends, and Joy serves the family gourmet meals with music and candlelight.

Joy travels to Arizona, where the Sundstroms, Chuck (39), Stephanie (35) and their four children -- Lindsey (15), Tanner (13), Conner (9) and Andy (7) -- live for drag racing. Chuck manages a local track and Stephanie and the kids all compete. Stephanie loves to race and competed when pregnant with all her kids, until she no longer fit behind the wheel. With the whole family at the track, the house is a mess; the pool table is where they dump all their clean laundry, so every day they sift through a huge pile to get dressed. And the Sundstroms like their food like they like their cars - fast - so no one cooks.

In the first week of the swap, Joy has to dump her neatly pressed clothes on the pool table, and accuses the boys of behaving like animals. At the race track she has to decide whether to stay in the pit or put the pedal to the metal racing. Meanwhile, Stephanie revs up house cleaning and throws a cocktail party, but is still left with the feeling the house is lonely. In the second week, when the wives change the rules, Joy puts the breaks on drag racing and bans clothes on the pool table. She cleans the entire house and brings in an etiquette coach. Meanwhile, Stephanie has the Towers throw all their clothes on the table and lets the kids decorate their rooms. The family put on their pink "Team Tower" overalls and step into Stephanie's world of high octane chaos with a crash course in pit training. At the end of the swap, when the couples are reunited, will Joy learn that cleanliness does not equal happiness? Will Stephanie slow down a little and learn to take some pride in her own home?
