Dancing With the Stars dancer Karina Smirnoff denies reports she has split with actor Mario Lopez.

The couple met when they partnered on the hit TV show and they moved in together last year (07).

Recent reports suggest Smirnoff is romantically linked to her latest dance partner, musician Mario, and has split with her live-in lover.

However, the dance star insists the couple is still together - but are going through a rough patch.

She tells Us Magazine, "You know, everybody goes through ups and downs in their relationships. That's kind of a given, and it's normal. But Mario and I are going strong.
