Simpson's Butt Workout 8/3/05
Jessica Simpson indulged in an intense diet and exercise regime to get
her bottom in shape to play Daisy Duke in the Dukes
of Hazzard.
The singer/actress was determined not to rely on a butt double to play
the curvaceous cowgirl in her movie debut - so she enlisted the help of
trainer Mike Alexander who put Simpson through a tireless schedule.
Alexander says, "Jessica wanted more of a bump for her rear
end."
The 25-year-old was forced through lunges and squats while holding
weights.
Alexander also put her on the South Beach Diet, which is low-fat and
low in carbohydrates. In the end Simpson lost an impressive 3.6 kilograms
(eight pounds) and dropped to an American dress size two.
She says, She says, "Daisy Duke was known for her ass, so I had to
do her justice." |
