Uma Thurman Seeks Angelina Jolie's Help  8/4/05

Uma Thurman has found single motherhood a struggle and would love to exchange advice with fellow celebrity parent Angelina Jolie. Since splitting from Ethan Hawke in 2004, Thurman has had sole responsibility of their children Maya, seven and Roan, three. 

She says, "It's only now that my kids are a little older that I don't feel completely torn apart with guilt when I leave them. "I've found that it's only when they start enjoying things away from you that you can really enjoy doing things on your own, too. "I'd love to share advice with other single mothers, like Angelina Jolie, but it's such an odd thing being a movie star parent. I find there are not many people that you have things in common with."
