Johnny Depp Considers Porn Film to Dent His Popularity  8/12/05

Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp is so worried about being typecast in oddball roles, he is considering shooting a hardcore porn film with his frequent director collaborator Tim Burton.

Depp has starred in a number of Burton's movies, most recently Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and is convinced appearing in an all-out sex film would stop studio bosses clamoring to sign him up.

Depp says, "I don't want to become typecast as an eccentric.

"Maybe I should do something totally different and film a cracking porn with Tim. That would really send my popularity to the depths."
