Jessica Simpson has started expressing herself through a new medium - her personal diary.

The 25-year-old Newlyweds star admits that while she was shooting her movie debut The Dukes of Hazzard in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she started to write down her innermost thoughts, as she'd once done when she was younger,

She says, "In my time in Baton Rouge, I started to write in my journal again, and that's how I got to know myself. I found a part of me that was dying to come out."
