Britney Spears Ex-Husband Slams Their Marriage  8/14/05

Britney Spears' first husband Jason Alexander has branded their 55-hour marriage a "s**t" waste of time - because he had no idea she became his wife as a joke.

The Toxic singer and Alexander exchanged vows in Las Vegas in January last year (04).

But Alexander complains Spears didn't give him time to read the marriage contract when she made him agree to an annulment less than three days later - leaving him without a penny of her $180 million fortune.

He fumes, "I never thought the wedding was a joke. I was serious about everything I said. But being married to Britney Spears was s**t.

"People think that I was paid-off but I got zero, nothing. Every time I pull up in my car, people go, 'Britney bought you that, huh?' I want to break their face."
