8/18/05
THE SIX REMAINING DESIGNERS FACE DOUBLE ELIMINATION WHEN THEY ARE SPLIT
INTO TEAMS OF TWO AND SENT OUT TO BARGAIN FOR CLOTHING ON THE STREETS OF
NEW YORK, ON "THE CUT," FRIDAY, AUG. 26 ON THE CBS TELEVISION
NETWORK
"I'm About to Get Killed In the Middle of the Hood with Some Whack
Mannequins"-- The six remaining designers hit the streets of New York
in teams of two armed with two full-sized mannequins and the threat of
double elimination as they bargain with people on the street for clothing,
on THE CUT, Friday, Aug. 26 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television
Network.
With the threat of a dual elimination looming, the remaining designers
drag their two mannequins to each one of the five boroughs in New York
City to barter for items from people on the streets in an effort to create
clothing that could be worn globally and sell commercially. As the teams
race against time, distance and the weight of the mannequins, some duos
appear confident in their abilities, while the others bicker over designs.
