Britney Spears Expecting a Baby Boy  8/18/05

Pop star Britney Spears revealed the sex of her unborn baby during a recent shopping trip in Los Angeles - she spent $11,000 on baby gear including clothes for a boy.

The Toxic singer, who is due to give birth next month (SEP05), has yet to settle on a name for her child but Spears and husband Kevin Federline have both taken a liking to 'Preston'.

An insider tells British newspaper The Sun, "They are mulling over several names but the one they favor is Preston."

A spokesperson for the 23-year-old adds, "It would be a lovely name."
