Teri Hatcher Slams Eating Disorder Rumor  8/25/05

Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher has hit out at rumors she is suffering from an eating disorder, insisting she lives a very healthy lifestyle.

The svelte actress has sparked speculation about her health recently after a series of photographs appeared to show the 40-year-old looking slimmer than normal.

She fumes, "To think that I would need to stop eating and be anorexic and sick to get a job in the wrong message to send to girls and women in our society and that really bugs me.

"I am all about health and to me size is not what defines your health. It never crossed my mind that if I thinner, I would get more jobs."
