Pamela Anderson Thrilled With Hotel Recording Session  8/26/05

Pamela Anderson is thrilled with her first efforts as a pop star - even though she never saw the inside of a proper recording studio while recording with fellow Canadian Bryan Adams.

The former Baywatch babe recorded her lyrics for new tune When You're Gone in the middle of a hotel suite at swanky Los Angeles hotel the Chateau Marmont, but she's proud she battled nerves to have a go.

She says, "I used to sing a lot and then I had one bad boyfriend in high school who told me that I couldn't dance or sing, so I stopped.

"(For this) there was no studio. I just went to the Chateau Marmont hotel and sang in the middle of a hotel room. It totally rocked."
