Nicole Richie Visits Children Living With HIV  8/26/05

Nicole Richie thrilled a group of children whose lives have been touched by HIV/AIDS recently, when she paid a surprise visit to their camp.

On 17 August (05), Richie paid a visit to Malibu, California's Camp Heartland, a retreat for youngsters infected with the disease or whose loved ones have been infected or have succumbed to it.

And The Simple Life star Richie proved extremely popular with the children she visited.

She says, "It was such an amazing experience. Camp is important. It's a place for the kids to forget their problems and enjoy being young."
