Bobby Brown has proven he has ditched his once-famous ego problems by agreeing to air a handful of scenes during which members of the public fail to recognize him as anything by Whitney Houston's husband.

The funny cuts featured in the finale of his hit US reality TV show Being Bobby Brown on Thursday night (25AUG05).

In one scene, he baffled one star spotter with his musical back catalog, but it was only when he mentioned his famous wife that the middle aged man recognized him.

His wife's name had to be mentioned to the Dalai Lama for him to stop and shake Brown's hand during a trip to London, and, in one embarrassing encounter, Brown is mistaken for Usher.
