Eva Longoria Thanks Boyfriend's Mom For Nursing Her Back to Health  8/28/05

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is being nursed back to good health by her boyfriend's mum after she was knocked unconscious on the set of the hit TV show.

The sexy actress was taken to hospital 10 days ago (17AUG05) after she was hit on head by a metal bar in a freak accident, and she has been suffering blinding headaches ever since, prompting her to rearrange her shooting schedule. But she admits that basketball ace Tony Parker's mum has become her angel to make sure the actress is taken care of as she recovers.

Longoria says, "She's great. She came here to take care of me because of my mangled head. We get along great."

And the actress is also giving thanks to her Desperate Housewives co-stars, who have stepped in to allow her to take a much-needed rest.

She adds, "Felicity (Huffman), Marcia (Cross) and Teri (Hatcher) re-arranged their lives because we have an ensemble cast, so it (my accident) affects, like, 20 people."
