Eva Longoria and Carmen Electra became firm friends yesterday afternoon (28AUG05), after realizing their romantic histories share common ground on the basketball court.

The sexy actresses visited Miami Beach's Oribe salon ahead of the MTV Video Music Awards and gossiped about their love lives.

Electra, currently married to rocker Dave Navarro, says, "We had lunch. It was fun.

"We were sharing stories about basketball boyfriends."

Longoria is dating San Antonio Spurs ace Tony Parker, while Electra was once married to Dennis Rodman.
