Evangeline Lilly Dreamed of Missionary Position  8/30/05

Lost star Evangeline Lilly was determined to be a missionary when she graduated, and never dreamed she would end up as one of the hottest new faces on American television.

The 26-year-old actress, who doesn't even own a TV, never had stardom in her sights, and wanted to spread the Christian faith throughout the world instead.

She says, "I always planned to do humanitarian aid work or mission work when I got my degree.

"When I was 18, I went to the Philippines for three weeks working at Bible camps as a tutor and a PE instructor for juvenile delinquents."
