Britney Spears Slams Retirement Rumors  9/1/05

Pregnant star Britney Spears has slammed reports she is retiring from the music industry to be a full-time mother to her unborn child, insisting she will release an album by 2007 at the latest.

The singer and husband Kevin Federline are gearing up for the imminent birth of their first child together this month (SEP05). Federline has two children, Kori and Kaleb, from his relationship with ex-fiancée Shar Jackson.

Spears says, "I'm just in the studio playing now, but (a new album) will probably be a year, a year and a half away."
